In lecture today we discussed a little about how it wasn't uncommon for their to be stories of the Christ figure on the cross to appear and/or talk to a nun or another believer.
This image of Jesus appearing reminded me of a news story that came about in early 2009.

In April 2009, Linda Lowe believes the image of Jesus appeared on the cheese of her cheese bread. Lowe said, "The Lord works in mysterious ways, but I don't think there's any magic to it. But it is a reminder that the Lord is with you every day of your life."
This isn't the only instance of the image of Jesus appearing in people's food. This also happened in early March of this year, where the face of Jesus supposedly appeared on a three-cheese pizza.

As stated by a pizzeria patron, "we Catholics can have a laugh at this, but if that image leads you to a deeper level of faith, or just a sense that Jesus is part of your life, then it can't be a bad thing,'' he said. "Faith is best shared around a meal at the dinner table.''
